OUR PASTOR
Hello! I’m Pastor Susan Jennys. It is my pleasure to serve this parish of the United Methodist Church as we seek to be a faith family for everyone in the Chester community. I am a graduate of Grace College, Winona Lake, IN and the United Methodist Course of Study of Garrett Seminary in Evanston, IL. Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life and ministry. I welcome the opportunity to introduce Him to you through the ministry of Word and Sacrament each Sunday and beyond. You aren cordially invited to come and be a part of this faith family. Here in the Chester United Methodist Church our mission together is to make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The United Methodist Church of Chester is deeply rooted in the local community, with a history of serving and supporting the residents of Chester, South Dakota. Our church has been a place of worship, fellowship, and outreach for many years, and we continue to carry forward the legacy of compassion and faith. We welcome everyone to be a part of our story, as we journey together in faith and service like those who did before us.
